My last full day in NYC was all about coffee and Broadway. I began my day by heading to Coffeemania, a Moscow-based chain, near Bryant Park.
Despite its name, Coffeemania seemed more like a bistro than a coffeehouse. With fancy dishes and jaw dropping high prices, I quickly came to the conclusion I would only be able to afford getting a coffee.
But not just any coffee. I was after their Raf Coffee. At $9 per cup, this Moscow favorite is noted for its similarity to melted ice cream in taste and texture.
Although I was involuntarily wincing at the markup, I can’t deny my tastebuds were highly satisfied. Raf Coffee is smooth and the unexpected latte art was an added surprise.
