“[T]here are, like, thirty Ray’s Pizzas. They all claim to be the original. But the real one’s on 11th.”
– Santa, Elf –
After exploring the vastness of Central Park and checking out the Met, S and I tried to find a place for dinner. After a few dead leads, we stumbled on Famous Original Ray’s Pizza. I got an order of garlic knots and a slice of Ray’s Famous Special Pizza, which was topped with sausage, pepperoni, bacon, meatballs, anchovies, green peppers, onions, and mushrooms.
Overall, it was decent and reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. The garlic knots were so good. And, now I can say I’ve tried a New York-style pizza.
