“That’s right! A laugh can be a very powerful thing. Why, sometimes in life, it’s the only weapon we have.”

Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988)
I can’t recall when I first saw Who Framed Roger Rabbit, but I do remember my first introduction to the character. On the VHS copy of Honey, I Shrunk the Kids (1989), there was a Roger Rabbit short that played before the movie called “Tummy Trouble.”
Likely, I initially saw Who Framed Roger Rabbit when it began playing on cable. Now, I’ll catch it when I’m feeling nostalgic and/or hoping to see some old school special effects.
During my most recent viewing, this line stood out to me. I find myself turning to comedy a lot this year as a stress reliever.
